Stephen Leppard

For many years, Steve has participated in the AuSable River Canoe Marathon, a grueling race lasting approximately 19 hours that takes paddlers from Grayling to Oscoda (on Lake Huron). He has used this as a vehicle to raise money for a long-time patient with multiple challenges. Steve has recently established the Solstice Scholarship for GVSU students pursuing degrees in Physical Therapy who participate in philanthropic activities.

Steve is a Physical Therapist and is the Clinical Director of NovaCare Rehabilitation in Kalamazoo. He is a graduate of Albion College and Grand Valley State University with a Residency Certificate from Oakland University. Sponsored by the Kalamazoo Sunrise Rotary Club, he was a member of the 2009 GSE team, traveling to Argentina.
